Hot pot dinner

My husband arrived at Bay Area.
The dinner on the day was Hot pot.
Because our kind friend remembered what I had wanted to eat it before.

The divided pot is special stuff for the hot pot.

A lot of ingredients are thrown into the pot.

There is a source of two kinds of soups.
They are different for the level of hot.
It is very important for us.

Contents of the bag are such feeling.

Look, this red hot color!
It's hot pot!

Fish's head becomes a good soup stock.

Done!
Let's start to eat!

Tea Time @ Palo Alto

I went to Tea Time@ Palo Alto to meet my Singaporean friend.

The tearoom provides us Afternoon tea of the traditional British style though it is small.

We shared the set of one because it was after the lunch.
Look, this volume!
Though just a set for one.

We enjoyed our tea time with such a delicious afternoon tea set.
We were talking like having met yesterday though I met her again after an interval of one year.
In the rumor, she might speak Japanese well very much.
Regrettably, she always speaks only in English with me.
The boyish girl is a girl of great humility.
However, I actually know she is so smart.

She asked me how I was thinking about Japanese politics.
It was a good timing!
Then, I asked whether she speaks Japanese.
After that, I spoke English, she spoke Japanese! How funny it was!
However, we enjoyed our conversation at that time.
I felt that understanding to each other deepened further.
Actually, her Japanese was excellent!
she had even a English-Japanese electronic dictionary!!!
She said that she learned Japanese from Japanese animation.
The subculture of Japan is really wonderful!

Dear friend, let's speak more again!
