Tokyo Imperial Palace is located on the former site of Edo Castle, a large park area surrounded by moats and massive stone walls in the center of Tokyo.
Unfortunately, 桜田門(Sakurada-mon) was under the restoration.
This is 二重橋(Nijūbashi = Nijubashi Bridge).
You can come up, however, can't enter.
A beautiful piece of scenery.
Very wide!
peaceful.
Enter from 大手門(Ōte-mon)!
Though it is admission free, you are passed the admission ticket.
Just walking is so comfortable.
