TYPHOON SIGNAL NO1

The typhoon signal is warning that the Hong Kong observatory announces officially.
The adoption in 1917 was subdivided to ten stages at the beginning because there was a grade in not only the force of the wind but also the wind.
The distinction by the wind was stopped, and it became five stages of 1・3・8・9・10 in 1973.
