The second day : The start is congee.

The local congee restaurant to whom I always go whenever coming to Hong Kong.
The congee here is really delicious though the shop is small.

The deep-fried fish balls with clam sauce is a speciality of the restaurant.

Because of the congee stewed a long hour, it is rich and the taste is very deep.
Take precautions against burning yourself, because it is piping hot.

The wonton noodle with prawn is also delicious.
A delicious taste of the prawn extends to the full of mouth when you bite the wonton.

Mother and the child of the local also are eating happily.
Delicious food always makes you so happy.

  1. What is congee? I've never heard of it. All the food looks delicious!

  2. "Congee" is the one that water is increased and rice is cooked softly.It takes long time to make though it is not difficult. Please refer to here for details(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Congee).
    It is not a dish peculiar to Hong Kong. I think that you can eat in common(I mean "NOT fancy") Chinese restaurant all over the world. Please check it in your place.
