Lunch @ The Railway Museum

At first, we went to lunch.
At first, lunch?
Well, we need a lot of energy to walk around in such a huge museum.
It is said, "It is not possible to fight when the number of bellies decreases" in Japan.
The restaurant is given to the special name "Nihon Shokudo- Restaurant of travel", a synonym for the dining car it used to before.
It offers abundant menus centering on the menu being offered by a dining car at that time.

The paper on the tray has already invited our nostalgia.

The restaurant is a cafeteria style.

Comfortable sunshine floods the restaurant down from a wide window.

He ordered Hayashi rice.

I ordered a dream menu "Hachikuma rice".
The special menu was offered to only crews at that time.
You know, actually, the best menu is always offered to the staff in the restaurant.

This is it!

Let's go to the Railway Museum ( Tetsudō Hakubutsukan ) !

Though I'm not a "Tetsuchan (= a serious rail fan in Japan)", I love vehicles.
Then, we went to the Railway Museum ( Tetsudō Hakubutsukan ) taking such a cute color train.

The station name is, actually, "Tetsudō Hakubutsukan".

There are parts of the train that you have taken now in the station premise.
You will be exciting.

After going out of the station, you'll find your ground is a time table of the railway.

The road to the entrance is very wide.

There are interesting displays in both sides.

A very big wheel.

Wow, "Degoichi" is here.

Though it looks very different, actually, it is almost same.

Can you imagine what this is?
Surprisingly, this is an eggplant!
It is true.

Producer's name is given to it.
It is written, "We are growing it using neither agricultural chemicals nor the commercial fertilizer."

The inside was the same as a usual eggplant when I cut it.

The taste was very yummy♪
