The Song of India

The last lunch in Singapore was an elegant Indian cuisine.

The restaurant on the Scotts Rd is such a graceful restaurant.

This spiral is the trade mark of the restaurant.
Is it a special meaning?

A glass of water with a slice of lemon.
A pleasant taste.

The start was the amusement from the chef.

The tomato soup was nice.

We tried to have vegetarian course cause we have few chance to have delicious Indian vegetarian in Japan.

Tada!

The plate was gorgeous!

Is it OK to include the tandoori chicken in the vegetarian menu?
However, I love it.

Curry of a spinach and Gouda cheese

The appetizing turmeric yellow.

It is very good to eat various dishes little by little.

Three kinds of delicious Naan.

Sauces and pickles as the relish.

The dessert was also beautiful.

Both were delicious, of course.

The finish was a cup of coffee.
Uhm, we were full up.

The guests seems businessmen or a kind of local rich people.

The interior decorations are impressive.

The refined space was very comfortable.

I love the elegant decoration for lighting.
I wanna come again for a dinner next time.

The art is a wooden elephant at the entrance.

The elegant restaurant has also a comfortable space in the outside.

It makes cool atmosphere.

とん吉 Tonkichi @ Suntec City Mall

The dinner was Japanese restaurant.
Because, I asked to bring us to their favorite restaurant when they asked us what kind of restaurant wants to go.
They hesitated about it cause their favorite restaurants were almost "Japanese restaurant".
It was very interesting for us cause there are many kinds of restaurants in such a cosmopolitan city Singapore.
Of course, we were OK because we hadn't eaten Japanese foods after leaving Japan.
In short, Japanese food was just one of choice of the world foods for us at that time.
Then, the last dinner in Singapore was "Japanese".
Though this explanation might be too long...
fufufu...

It was such a lovely Tonkatsu restaurant.

There were many familiar dishes to us with photos to be delicious.

The beer is Asahi from Japan, of course!

The white sesame seeds is essential to Tonkatsu.

She and I ordered "Hire Katsu Set".
Um..., yummy crisp.

His choice was "Oroshi Rosu Katsu Set".
The grated radish on Katsu seems delicious!

Her husband ordered "Hire Katsu Curry".
Katsu Curry is very popular dish among school boys and energetic guys who belong to sports clubs.
He kindly permitted me to taste it.
"Oishii(=yummy)~♪"

The dessert was orange.
Actually, とん吉 Tonkichi was almost "real" Japanese restaurant.
I strongly recommend it.

A yummy dessert in Hawkers

Hawkers means a kind of food court in Singapore.
You can eat yummy local foods there.
They brought us to a local one after the lunch.

You can see the variety on the signboard.

This is Cheng Tng which my friend recommended.
It was a good thing for the heat weather.

He loves Ice Kacang.

There were many shops which had a long long line.
