南翔馒头店 Nanxiang Steamed Bun Restaurant @ Nanjing Xi Road

Nanxiang Steamed Bun Restaurant @ Yuyuan Garden is a famous restaurant of Xiaolongbao which you must go of Shanghai.

Now they also have a lot of branch in overseas.
The head restaurant in Yuyuan Garden has always very very long line.

We went to the branch at Nanjing Xi Road.

The first try was a little early in opening time.

Then, we came again.

The chefs were working hard.
The spectacle improves our expectations.

Though the branch doesn't have "To go".

Luckily, we entered the restaurant without waiting too much.

The start was the asparagus soup.

It was very delicious.

I love 回锅肉.

Though it is not Shanghai cuisine but Szechuan cuisine.

This is 咖喱肉餃.

Yummy.

We tried two kinds of Xiaolongbao.
This is 特製蟹味噌小籠.
It includes the special crab meat and soup.
Delicious and deep taste!

This is 鮮肉小籠.
This is the signature of Nanxiang Steamed Bun Restaurant.
So yummy.

We preferred this simple taste to the crab.

This is 蟹黄灌汤包.
You can suck up the big Xiaolongbao through a straw.
