IYEMON, again

After Gion Matsuri, I went to IYEMON SALON KYOTO again with my friends.

Night time is also nice in IYEMON.
Beautiful, yummy and comfortable.

Especially, rice is so puffily!

八坂神社 Yasaka Shrine

八坂神社(Yasaka Shrine) is a Shinto shrine in the Gion District of Kyoto, Japan.

The gate lacquered in red is beautiful.

The comfortable fresh green.

Pray.

The beautiful stone pavement.

There are also many kinds of Omamori.
This is Eto Mamori.

This is Omamori for becoming a beauty.

This is Omamori for winning.

The lovely Ema.

The heart shape is also.
It's for a good knot.

Will you try O-mikuji?

Random fortunes.

Love version.

祇園祭 Gion Matsuri @ Yasaka Shrine

祇園祭(Gion Matsuri) is a famous festival of Yasaka Shrine in Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto.
The things which remind of summer of Kyoto.

It is one of the Kyoto 3 major festivals (others are the Aoi Festival of the Kamigamo shrine and Shimogamo Jinja, and Jidai Festival of Heian Jingu).
Furthermore, it is counted by one of the three Japanese major festivals along with Tenjin Festival of Osaka, and Sanno Festival (or Kanda Festival) of Tokyo.

It is a long festival performed over one month from July 1.
If you stay in Kyoto in July, you are so lucky.

Kannushi is there.

Many people.

Oh?

Wow~!

Fire~!

It grows dark gradually.

The procession goes silently.

From the shrine.

The long long procession.

Back again.
