Peranakan Chinese and Baba-Nyonya are terms used for the descendants of late 15th and 16th-century Chinese immigrants to the Indonesian archipelago of Nusantara during the Colonial era.
A male is called "Baba", a woman is called "Nyonya", and it is called "Peranakan" by the general term.
It seems that the splendid world which was mixed all flavors of the China culture, Western culture, Malaysia culture, and India culture will be called "Peranakan".
Actually, the Peranakan world is really brilliance.
A lovely basket.
A gorgeous bed.
There was such fashionable world.
It is said that "a good bride" of Nyonya had to be good at handicraft and cooking.
Then, many beautiful things which were made those days are displayed.
Wow, it's very very delicate embroideries!
The containers with lovely paintings.
Tablewares are also so cute in the Peranakan world.
