It was quiet although it was New Year's Eve

After leaving from the Eastern and Oriental Hotel, we were walking down the street.
This is the Penang police.

You can see the landmark of the downtown, Komtar over there.

At the front of the building, I saw a small concert.
Some pedestrians were stopping to listen to it.

Komtar is Penang's tallest building and located in the heart of George Town.
Although it was popular shopping complex from the 1st to the fourth floors, a food mall on the fifth floor and over the sixth floors were office floors before, the inside of the present building is very quiet and few stores do business.
There is a rotation view space on the 58th floor, the visitation is impossible now.

We went up the elevator.

Some restaurants had prepared a special dinner for the New Year's Eve, still.
Though there were few guests...
We wanted to try any one, however, we were very full after the afternoontea unfortunately.

Then, KFC again...
