富春小笼馆 Fu Chun Xiao Long

Of course, our first lunch is Xiaolongbao because we are in Shanghai.

富春小笼馆 is a very famous restaurant for their Xiaolongbao among local people.

You must buy meal tickets at first.
Because of a deep local restaurant, the lady speaks only Chinese.
Then, I tried to order the menu with Chinese.

Xiaolongbao was easily understood because their famous menu.

Sometimes, I wrote Chinese character.

Well, we can understand Chinese character because we use similar (though both are a little different) character.

Some menus have pictures.

Luckily, a kind middle age Chinese man helped me because he can a little understand Japanese.

After you got the meal tickets, you must get your seat by yourself for the next step because nobody attend you in the local restaurant.
You need stand beside a table that someone seems to finish his lunch soon.

Don't think it is bad manners!

Everyone does.

When in China, do as Chinese does.

Finally, you got your seat, you need to pass your tickets to a waitress.

Unfortunately, I forgot the menu.

However it was the best menu of the lunch.
The eggplant is soft as if it melt in your tongue.
