In-town Check-in Service

Facilities that are called an in-town check-in are set up at Hong Kong Station and the Kowloon station, and the boarding (check-in) and the trust luggage to the aircraft can be entrusted if it is up to ago of boarding of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
I think that it is a quite convenient, good system.

Reunion not anticipated

It was a coffee place in the Excelsior Hotel.

In this place, we did the reunion not anticipated.

Loved egg tart of Andrew.
It was not possible to buy it if not going to Macau before.
It really became convenient.
First of all, I bought it for the souvenir.

In addition, to eat at once, I bought it.
After all, it is delicious even if eating in Hong Kong.

It is the most delicious in famous Macau as the birthplace of the egg tart, the famous one is the egg tart of "Andrew".

The last day : The start is special tea house.

There is a favorite tea house to which I go without fail when coming to Hong Kong.
"陸羽茶室(LUK YU TEA HOUSE)" is a tea house with the history for 75 years or more.
Every morning, a lot of luxury cars with the chauffeur always park in front of the restaurant.

From the interior in the tea house to waiter's uniform is left the image of "Old Hong Kong", and all waiters keep working for a long time, the atmosphere is also attractive.

The fine workmanship of the dragon is set in the window of the landing.

Though it is one of the enjoyments that the wagon of the dim sum turns beside your table when you go to the dim sum in the morning, this tearoom is a little different.
The tray of various dim sums is put from the shoulder by the old girls with high voice to put on a white uniform, and turns round the restaurant.
There might not be a lot of places where this saleswoman style is kept from of old now.

There are always a lot of regular customers.
They enjoy the morning time to read newspapers, just chatting...etc., with their own separate way.

The Pu-erh tea is good for the dim sum.
As for a delicious restaurant of the dim sum, tea is also delicious.
Tea in this tearoom is especially delicious.

Hey, this Cha siu bao!
Actually, I am crazy about the Cha siu bao(=Barbecue pork bun).

Steamed farinanceous roll with shrimp.
The slick passing in the throat is comfortable.

This includes corn.
It is a faint, sweet, gentle taste.

Here is a dim sum recommended by the waiter.
It seems fish's dim sum, and enough flesh-colored source is very delicious.

Spring roll is delicious in crispy.

It is described that the Michelin guide book is "You may have to try hard to tease a smile out of the old boys serving you at one of the few remaining authentic teahouses in this area."
I feel that I differ a little about this.
Certainly, old boys who work in the traditional tearoom over many years are professional who has pride in their work, and the smile of the whole face might never be put like the waiter in the family restaurant.
However, they are actually very kind.
There is a person who responds with a shy smile when I question on something.
I never have what has unpleasant time in this tearoom visited many times before.
The misunderstanding like the above-mentioned might have been caused because there are only few waiter who can speak good English.
That's a pity!

Mystery of athletic shoes

I saw an athletic shoe was on a taxi.
Though it seems to be unrelated to the advertisement of the body door ......
It is a considerably surrealistic aspect.

It looks known but it's actually unknown.

Motorcycle for delivery of McDonald?
I knew only the inside of a store eating and drinking or drive-through.
Is the delivery served also in places other than Hong Kong?

Ah, father !

She whom I met in underground passageway.
It is written, "father" in her back in Japanese.
Why is it "father"?
Is it a just fashion?
Or, is she a serious Electra complex?
Anyway, I felt the languidness intense.

Favorite signs

Sign of "CAUTION WET FLOOR" seen here and there of town in Hong Kong

It is humorous somehow and it is so cute.
Because I liked it too much, I wanted to get it for my souvenir a long time ago.

Unfortunately, I was not able to find it in Hong Kong.
However, I was very glad to obtain it in Shanghai afterwards.
It is exactly the same one as this photograph.
It is a decoration of my house now.

There seem to be various variations.

The stairs are also dangerous.

There is a type only of the alphabetical letter or the Chinese character, too.

The appearance of the person who runs away at full charge moving toward the exits is cute.
