江記東門豆花 @ 東門市場 Donmen Market

江記東門豆花 is such a narrow shop that you might not notice without care.

However, it is a specialty shop of 豆花 and 豆漿 known only to insiders.
Customer come to the small shop one after another.

It is a long-established shop which opened in the Donmen Market in 1976, and continue now for 30 years or more.
The 2nd generation owner adheres to handmade.
He thinks 豆花 should be a traditional taste since it is a traditional food.

Of course, 豆漿 is nice.

This is it!!
This is the most delicious 豆花 that I had eaten ever!!!
The cold 豆花 harmonize very well with brown sugar syrup and boiled peanut.
The boiled peanut was so soft.
The bite feeling was so comfortable.
Can you imagine?
The brown sugar syrup was not too sweet, it was just wonderful.
Tofu was exquisite taste......
Actually, I was really shocked to have it.
I strongly recommend it.
Never be regret.

There are the daily lives of local people.

Some stands had been already closed cause it was in the afternoon.

The nice Tofu shop found by chance.
I wanted to try 豆漿(Soy milk) or something.
However, it was already sold-out, though it was still in the early afternoon.
Surely, I'll come again.

杭州小籠湯包 Hangzhou Xiaolong Tangbao

After the National CKS Memorial Hall, we went to 杭州小籠湯包(Hangzhou Xiaolong Tangbao) for a lunch.

Taiwan beer is light taste.

酸辣湯(Hot and sour soup) is nice.

小籠湯包(Xiaolongbao) is signature.
It's so yummy♪

角瓜蝦仁湯包 contains sponge gourds and shrimps in Xiaolongbao.
It's unique, however, I love the standard one.

大餅捲牛肉 is a kind of "The crepe roll of beef" of the Taiwan style.
The sweet miso sauce and leeks are good combination.

蔥油餅(Green onion pancake) is also yummy.

You can see the kitchen.

There are many side dishes.

It's a very popular restaurant among the local people.

You can see the guard mount at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13;00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00 in the National CKS Memorial Hall.

The start was on the 1st floor.
The hall resounded with the footsteps of their boots.

It's interesting that they were waiting for taking the elevator to the upper floor.

They were marching in good order.

There were five guards in all.
