重慶大廈 Chungking Mansions

Chungking Mansions was a place where the indecency and the energy of Hong Kong were condensed.
It is a multi-tenant building in the best area in Kowloon.
However, it has a strange atmosphere even at the entrance and it was a mysterious space where usual Hong Kong people rarely approaches either.
You can feel the questionable atmosphere from the movie "Chungking Express".
Actually, it was a nest of crime and it had uneasiness of the public security for a long time before.
The enhanced security continues after the 2000's, for example, the security guard post was placed at A post on the third floor.

However, a part of such Chungking Mansions was redecorated recently, and it was reborn as a new tourist spot "CKE Shopping Mall".
I went there out of curiosity.

There was a eerie mannequin.
Why did she need a mask?

Nail salons stand out in the building.
A lot of young girls enjoy the relaxation time.

There seem to be still a lot of vacant stores, too.

Long long underpass

Now, there is long underpass in Tsim Sha Tsui.

It is long for such a sign to mention.

There is also a moving walkway.

It made us eases to walk in HOT Hong kong summer.

1881 Heritage @ Tsim Sha Tsui

1881 Heritage is a big shopping center at Tsim Sha Tsui.
The area had continued the construction for long time.
Originally, it was the Former Marine Police Headquarters, and the building was a colonial style built in 1881.
After the reconstruction, the colonial style has remained all over the place.

A cute emblem!

Lovely!

A good place for relaxing.

There are a lot of wonderful spots.

You can use them each scene properly.

The Star Ferry

I love the Star Ferry very much.
Always, I'm exciting to ride it.

It seems that they have the harbor tour recently.
I'd like to join it next time.

Comfortable!

Our hero is the sailor man.

I can understand I came back to Hong Kong when I rode it.

Sunday of ifc mall.

I saw the performance of jazz on the way.
Such a comfortable Sunday afternoon.

Lovely flowers @ Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong

So beautiful!

龍景軒 Lung King Heen @ Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong

We went to 龍景軒 Lung King Heen @ Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong for dim sum lunch.
Lung King Heen is the only Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong to receive three Michelin stars.
Executive Chef Chan Yan Tak is known as the first Chinese chef to whom this honorable title is given.
The restaurant is a very stylish atmosphere and the service is refined.

Victoria Harbour was seen from our table.

It is such an elegant table setting.

There are three kinds of sources.

Look, these beautiful greens!

It seems that dumplings are transparent.
I admire the delicate works.

I never seen such a beautiful and delicious Steamed Rice Rolls before.

Xiaolongbao of this restaurant were put on small bamboo containers which has handles to take easy.
They looks so cute!
Where can I buy them?

He always loves Spring Rolls.

This is Baked Whole Abalone Puffs with Diced Chicken.

So beautiful color!

The bun part is so soft.

It is really delicious♪

I can't say anything.
It is almost art!

Of course, they don't cut corners for even desserts.

Everything is perfect.
I'll repeat this restaurant next time.
